Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph.D., the creator of Nonviolent Communication, is the original resource. Now in his seventies, he developed NVC over decades, beginning with his work in the 1960's for civil rights and contining tirelessly in conflict transformation and social change.

He currrently spends his time training NVC practitioners all over the globe. His vision to make life wonderful by getting everyone's needs met is taking root in 65 countries.

Over 250,000 people a year are exposed to NVC. It is being used in war zones and the aftermath of war, and in schools, prisons, churches, boardrooms, and homes.
